Samvinas Help

Welcome to the help system. We created this site to provide you with detailed guidance on using the various tools in Samvinas, along with more general information about how to design and facilitate problem solving events. It is important to note that this is not a course, but rather a 'How to...' guide. If you would like to know more about Creative Problem Solving, you can visit the Academy where we offer a range of courses and resources.

Samvinas is designed to support small group problem solving. We imagine you using the system with your colleagues to collect ideas, vote on preferences and build action plans. However, there are many situations where using sticky notes and markers is the best approach. In fact, it is quite common to run a meeting that mixes both ways of working. For that reason, each of the tool pages contains the three tabs:

Samvinas (running it in the app),
Paper and pen (running it with markers, sticky notes and wall space),
When & why (deciding what to do, and when).

We have arranged the content into three paths. Pick the path that matches where you are today.
